Fitness Consultant Week 2: Staying Strong
Note: This was written last week but I didn't get around to posting it on time.
Time flies when you're having fun, right? Even when you're idea of fun is putting your body through it's paces.
It's been two weeks since I started working with Sohee. During this time I've lost about 7 pounds. Pretty sweet, but that's not what I'm excited about. The thing that gets my motor running is the visual changes starting to happen.
Granted, it's not a huge amount of difference, but damn! What little has changed has gotten me fired up.
Cravings
Who doesn't have 'em? If you know someone who says they don't have any cravings I guarantee they have a cheat meal sometime during the week. Either that or they're dead.
During week one I was jonesing for some treats pretty bad. Like a good boy I didn't follow through on those impulses.
Low and behold, in week two there were far fewer cravings. The biggest surprise coming Sunday night. My normal Sunday routine would have been a shitty dinner followed by a bag of chips, popcorn (with butter of course), and/or ice cream. Not this week buddy boy, not this week.
Keep on truckin'
This is only week two of twelve. Sohee is dropping some serious knowledge on my ass and I love it. Seeing numbers on the scale and measurements drop (except my butt, that got bigger) while watching numbers on the barbell go up is a feeling you can't get many places. You should try it sometime.
