Stay strong this summer
Wow. Summer is almost half over already, how did that happen?! Where you ready for it? I wasn't.
Hopefully you've been thoroughly enjoying yourself taking some time off work and getting out to enjoy all life has to offer. I hope you haven't been over-indulging too much though; a little is perfectly okay.
A question I get from a lot of people is what should they do when they go too far off the deep end while they're trying to lose weight. Most of the time this question comes after they've gone through a binge.
There will always be good days and bad. Your job is to recover from the bad days as quickly and enthusiastically as possible. At times I've binged for a week or two before returning to a proper diet. Did I cry about it? NO! I focused and got to work.
So, what should you do? The exact same thing I do. Rediscover the reason you started in the first place. Remember why you want to get healthy and fit. Then get to work.
