The Real Cost of Shakeology
A lot of people get put off when they see how much Shakeology costs. About a month ago a couple of Beachbody Coaches on my team posted breakdowns on the real cost of Shakeology (original post). Here's a quick recap:
Shakeology on montly auto-ship costs approximately $126 ($119.99 + tax) for a one month supply. Broken down, each shake costs $4.20.- The Coach price is approximately $97 ($89.99 + tax), which makes each shake $3.20.
- An average fast-food or deli lunch is $6-$10.
- An average restaurant or take-out meal is $10+
- A home-cooked meal of chicken, frozen veggies, and a potato is about $3.50 (depending on portions).
Bottom line, you're spending $3-$4 dollars on a home-cooked meal which is the same as what you'd have spent on Shakeology.
Let's be honest, this comparison doesn't consider the fact Shakeology is more nutrient dense and healthier than the average home-cooked meal. If you could put a price tag on that the difference would be astounding.
